How It All Began
Before coming to Lake Chapala my wife and I traveled in our 5th wheel travel trailer from Yellowstone National Park in the Summer to Arizona in the Winter I was a photographer working for hotels and resorts such as Holiday Inn's, Choice Hotels, Best Westerns, Marriots, mountain resorts and dude ranches, to name a few.
For Retiring Baby Boomers
If you're looking for an affordable retirement location with a wonderful warm winter climate and one that's not to hot in the summer, you owe it to yourselves to travel south and visit Lake Chapala. The scenery, the people and all of the recreational opportunities are just a few of the others reasons for this comment. The highest temperature in the past 3 years was 90 degrees. The lowest temperature was 42 degrees. The averages, summer, 81/61 and winter 71/51. Don't take my word for it, come on down and see for yourself.
Our first Lake Chapala DVD was produced after our first extended visit to Lake Chapala in 2005. We intended to use it to show our family and friends where we planned to live. After multiple requests for copies we realized there was a need for this type of media and have continued to produce updated volumes each year since. We now have well over 20,000 images to consider when we begin producing each new volume. They include images of Historic Colonial Cities, Mountain Resort Villages and Beach resorts, people, events and activities. It also includes restaurants, Lake Chapala street scenes, churches, scenery and more.
Many of our prior year buyers anticipate the new release of each new volume and purchase it to see what's new, what has changed and to stay current with Lake Chapala happenings.
